For perdiz hunting in February at AWS Lodge, which falls during our summer season, we highly recommend lightweight, breathable, and comfortable boots with good ankle support. You'll be doing a fair amount of walking through fields, so waterproof or water-resistant upland hunting boots or sturdy hiking boots are excellent choices. Look for good traction and a fit that allows for long days in the field.
