Mixed Bag Hunting Argentina
Why settle for just doves? Entre Rios (literally "Between Rivers") offers a unique ecosystem of wetlands, grasslands, and roosts that allows us to offer the ultimate challenge: Ducks, Perdiz, and Doves all in a single trip.
Unlike Cordoba (which is mostly dry), our water-rich location near Buenos Aires lets you hunt the full variety of species without changing lodges or taking domestic flights.
Experience the Diversity
Watch the action unfold. From the morning duck blinds in the wetlands to the adrenaline of high-volume dove shooting in the afternoon.
Why Entre Rios?
True Mixed Bag hunting requires specific geography: Marshlands for ducks, Pastures for perdiz, and Roosts for doves. We have all three within a short drive of the lodge. This minimizes drive times and maximizes hunting time.

The Mixed Bag Season
To hunt all three main species (Duck, Perdiz, Dove), you must come during the Argentine winter.
Prime Season: May 15th to August 15th.
This is when Duck and Perdiz seasons are open. Doves are available year-round, but the combination is a winter exclusive.
The Daily Rhythm
A classic Mixed Bag day starts with Duck hunting over decoys at sunrise. We return to the lodge for a gourmet lunch and a siesta. The afternoon is dedicated to Perdiz hunting over pointing dogs or high-volume Dove/Pigeon shooting until sunset.
Mixed Bag FAQ
Yes. You are the boss. If you prefer to hunt Ducks every morning and Doves every afternoon, we make it happen. If you want to focus on Perdiz or Pigeons, just let us know.
It is classic upland hunting. We walk through short grass pastures behind trained pointing dogs (Brittanys or Setters). It is a gentleman's hunt—lower volume, but high skill and elegance.
Usually, yes. Since our fields are close, we often return to the lodge for a gourmet lunch and a siesta between the morning Duck hunt and the afternoon Upland/Dove shoot.
Not necessarily. A 20-gauge semi-auto is perfect for Doves and Perdiz. For Ducks, some prefer 12-gauge, but a 20-gauge with magnum loads works excellently. We provide guns that can handle it all.
Just like our other programs, you land in Buenos Aires (EZE) and we drive you directly to the lodge (2 hours from the city or 2 hours 40 mins from the airport). No domestic flights required.
Since it's winter (May-Aug), bring layers. Camo is recommended for Ducks and Pigeons. Comfortable walking boots are a must for the Perdiz fields.
