An AWS Lodge Mixed Bag program combines year-round Dove shooting with seasonal Duck and Perdiz sessions through a structured itinerary. The usual planning window is approximately mid-May through mid-August, commonly around May 15 through August 15, subject to the provincial regulations, authorizations, field conditions, weather and written program in effect for the selected season.
A common structure uses mornings for Duck or Perdiz and afternoons for Dove shooting. The exact sequence may change according to scouting, daylight, water levels, field access, safety and guest priorities.
The three core experiences are Dove, Duck and Perdiz. Pigeon and Parakeet may occasionally be considered as alternative sessions when season, scouting, regulations, field access and the written itinerary permit.

Not an automatic Mixed Bag component. It may be reviewed separately when current conditions and the written itinerary permit.
View Parakeet Hunting DetailsMixed Bag hunting is not designed to rush through several species merely to check boxes. The purpose is to build a balanced itinerary that uses the most suitable morning and afternoon opportunities available during the trip.
Duck, Perdiz and Dove sessions require different terrain, staffing and field preparation. AWS Lodge coordinates those transitions from one operational base, with generally short field transfers and daily adjustments based on current conditions.
Request a Mixed Bag ItineraryThe public program line includes two signature formats, three audience-specific Celebration programs and two compact one-night experiences. Prices are intentionally handled through the inquiry funnel so the written quotation reflects current dates, group size, rooming and inclusions.
These programs are designed for guests whose principal reason for travel is wingshooting and who want more than a single hunting day.
