Q: can you give me a breakdown of the typical daily schedule for a january duck hunt

AWS EXPERT REPLY
AWS Lodge does not run Duck hunts in January — Duck sessions are offered only through a confirmed Mixed Bag program during the normal season, generally mid-May to mid-August. For January trips, we exclusively offer our High-Volume Dove program. For reference, here is what a typical Duck hunt day looks like when booked within the Mixed Bag season:

Early Morning (Pre-Dawn): Your day begins with a gentle wake-up call, followed by fresh coffee, juice, and a light breakfast spread. Our team will have your gear ready.
Morning Hunt (Dawn onwards): You'll head out with your professional guide in our comfortable Unimogs or Jeeps to one of our 32 prime private lagoons, typically a short 5-45 minute drive from the lodge. Each hunter is accompanied by a dedicated bird boy to assist with everything you need. You'll settle into your blind for an incredible morning of duck hunting, experiencing the abundant waterfowl of Argentina.
Mid-Day (Late Morning/Early Afternoon): After an exhilarating morning in the field, you'll return to the lodge. A lavish brunch or lunch awaits, featuring gourmet cuisine prepared by our chefs, often including fresh game from the day's hunt. This is followed by time for relaxation, a siesta, or enjoying the lodge amenities.
Afternoon Options: While ducks are mostly a morning pursuit, the afternoons are often dedicated to high-volume dove shooting, which is an incredible experience on its own. Alternatively, you can opt for a perdiz hunt (an add-on of quoted upon request by our team). Our all-inclusive multi-day packages ensure you have a variety of wingshooting opportunities.
Evening (Late Afternoon/Night): As the sun sets, you'll gather back at the lodge for a delightful happy hour with an open bar, featuring premium spirits and appetizers. This leads into a gourmet dinner, often a traditional Argentine asado (BBQ) or another exquisite culinary creation, paired with fine wines. The evening concludes with relaxing by the fire, sharing stories from the day, and preparing for the next adventure.

Our multi-day packages are completely all-inclusive, covering luxury lodging, gourmet meals, open bar, and professional guides. We handle all the logistics for you, including arranging gun rentals and hunting licenses, which are added to your final itinerary so you don't have to worry about the details.

*(AWS Expert Note: Please be aware that our Mixed Bag programs, including Duck and Perdiz hunting, strictly run during the Argentine winter from mid-May to mid-August. For trips in January, we exclusively offer our world-renowned High-Volume Dove program, which is spectacular year-round!)*
