Q: do i need waders for duck hunting in january
Thank you for reaching out!
While duck hunting is an incredible experience at AWS Lodge, January falls during the summer in Argentina, and our duck hunting season typically runs from May through August. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to hunt ducks in January. During the duck season, yes, waders are generally essential for duck hunting to navigate the lagoons comfortably and stay dry, and we can assist with arrangements for these if needed.
However, if you're planning a trip for January, our high-volume dove hunting is available year-round and offers an unparalleled experience with millions of doves and fantastic weather.
To help me tailor the best information for you and send you a custom proposal based on your interests, could you please share your email address? Also, what time of year are you generally considering for your hunting trip to Argentina, and what type of hunting are you most interested in?
*(AWS Expert Note: Please be aware that our Mixed Bag programs, including Duck and Perdiz hunting, strictly run during the Argentine winter from mid-May to mid-August. For trips in January, we exclusively offer our world-renowned High-Volume Dove program, which is spectacular year-round!)*
