Q: do we need waders for the duck hunting in january

AWS EXPERT REPLY
Thank you for your question!

Regarding duck hunting, the prime season in Argentina typically runs from May through August, which is our winter here. January is actually our summer, offering fantastic weather conditions that are perfect for high-volume dove hunting and Perdiz hunting. Duck hunting is not available during January.

For our multi-day dove and Perdiz hunting packages, you won't need waders. Our all-inclusive experience ensures you have everything covered for a seamless and luxurious trip, from professional guides and top-tier equipment to gourmet meals and open bar. We handle all the logistics for your hunt, including arranging necessary gun rentals and hunting licenses.

To help me tailor the best information for you and send you a custom proposal, could you please share your email address? Also, how many hunters are in your group, and are you interested in our High-Volume Doves or a Mixed Bag (Doves & Perdiz) experience?

AWS Lodge Note: These insights are compiled from historical guest queries to assist in your trip planning. While we strive for accuracy, field conditions, weather, and specific logistics may vary. Our staff handles all the hard work in the field. Always confirm final gear and itinerary details directly with our team. Contact Staff »

"Honestly the best wingshooting trip of my life. The high-volume dove shooting is exactly as advertised - non-stop action. The lodge is luxurious and the staff makes you feel like family."

"I was skeptical about the 'no internal flights' claim, but it's true. Landed in BA and was hunting by the afternoon. The mixed bag program allowed me to hunt ducks and perdiz in the same trip. Top notch."

"The food alone is worth the trip. The asados in the field were incredible. If you are looking for a luxury lodge near Buenos Aires, this is the one. Can't wait to return next season."
