• Weather: In September, you can expect generally mild and pleasant spring weather. Mornings and evenings can still be cool, especially early in the month, but daytime temperatures usually rise to comfortable levels. There can be some variability, with warmer days possible, but it's generally a very enjoyable time to be outdoors.
• Species Suitability:
* Doves: Doves are an exceptional year-round hunting opportunity in our region, so September is fantastic for high-volume dove shooting.
* Ducks & Perdiz: AWS Lodge does not offer Duck or Perdiz hunting in September — the confirmed Mixed Bag season runs mid-May through mid-August. For a September trip, we exclusively offer our High-Volume Dove program.
