Q: for january duck hunts do i need chest waders or just hip boots
Duck hunting is not normally offered by AWS Lodge in January. Duck sessions are available only when included and confirmed in a written Mixed Bag itinerary, generally during the May 15-August 15 season and subject to official regulations. During any confirmed Duck session, guests do not need chest waders or hip waders. Hunters remain in dry areas or blinds while the field team handles decoys and retrieves from the water.
