That's an excellent question! AWS Lodge does not offer Perdiz hunting in January — Perdiz sessions run only through our confirmed Mixed Bag program during the normal season, generally mid-May to mid-August. For reference, when Perdiz hunting in season, comfort and durability are paramount, as you'll be covering a good amount of ground in the field. We highly recommend lightweight, waterproof or water-resistant boots with excellent ankle support and cushioning. Brands like Meindl, Lowa, or Kenetrek are popular choices among our guests for their quality and performance in upland hunting conditions. Given that January is summer in Argentina, breathability is also a key factor to keep your feet comfortable throughout the day. We always advise breaking in any new boots well before your trip to ensure maximum comfort.

Our perdiz hunting experience, when booked in season, is a fantastic addition to our multi-day, all-inclusive packages, offering a classic upland challenge in beautiful settings just a short drive from the lodge. You'll have a dedicated bird boy assisting you, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable hunt.
