There is no Perdiz hunt at AWS Lodge in September. Duck and Perdiz sessions are offered only through a confirmed Mixed Bag program during the normal season, generally from mid-May to mid-August, subject to current regulations, field conditions, and the written itinerary. For a confirmed in-season Perdiz session, lightweight and already broken-in hiking or upland boots with good ankle support are appropriate. Water-resistant or waterproof construction is useful for dew, wet grass, or rain, but heavy mountaineering footwear is normally unnecessary.
