Q: what are the actual high-volume dove shooting records for the lodge and what's a realistic expectation for a typical hunter on a good day in july
At AWS Lodge, we are renowned for truly exceptional high-volume dove shooting, and it's not uncommon for our guests to experience incredible numbers. While official "records" vary widely depending on individual shooter skill and stamina, many of our hunters consistently shoot well over 1,000 birds per day, and some dedicated shooters can reach 2,000, 3,000, or even more, as the doves are incredibly abundant.
For a typical hunter on a good day in July, a realistic expectation would be to comfortably shoot between 1,000 to 2,000 doves, with many guests often exceeding that. July falls within our prime hunting season, and our location just two hours from Buenos Aires means we have access to vast feeding grounds and roosts, ensuring consistent high volume. Our dedicated bird boys and proximity to 32 prime private lagoons (5-45 minutes away) are designed to maximize your shooting opportunities throughout the day.
