Q: what are the main duck species we'd likely target in october
AWS Lodge does not run Duck hunts in October — Duck sessions are offered only through a confirmed Mixed Bag program during the normal season, generally mid-May to mid-August. For October trips, we exclusively offer our High-Volume Dove program. For reference, here are the main duck species you'd typically target when booking a Duck hunt within the Mixed Bag season: the Rosy-billed Pochard, Speckled Teal, White-cheeked Pintail, Cinnamon Teal, Silver Teal, and sometimes the Yellow-billed Pintail. Our region is renowned for its abundant wetlands and healthy duck populations, ensuring a thrilling hunt when booked in season.
