However, as a general guideline for your November trip:
• For high-volume dove hunting, where birds are often fast and abundant, many of our guests find an Improved Cylinder (IC) or Modified (MOD) choke to be ideal. These chokes offer a wider pattern, which is highly effective for quick target acquisition and connecting with multiple birds in the exciting, continuous action we're known for.
• For duck hunting — please note our Mixed Bag program (which includes Duck and Perdiz) is only available during the confirmed season, generally mid-May to mid-August, so it is not offered for November trips. For reference, when booked in season, shots over our private lagoons can often be at slightly longer ranges, so a Modified (MOD) or even a Full (FULL) choke is typically recommended to deliver a denser pattern for decoying ducks.
