Q: what forms or permits do i need to bring my own shotgun for the july trip
Bringing your own shotgun to Argentina involves a few specific permits and forms, but our team at AWS Lodge specializes in making this process as smooth as possible for our guests.
You will need to apply for a temporary import permit for your firearm. This typically involves submitting an application with details about your shotgun (make, model, serial number, caliber) and your personal information to the Argentine authorities (ANMAC - Agencia Nacional de Materiales Controlados) well in advance of your trip. You'll also need a letter of invitation from us, which we provide once your trip is confirmed.
Our dedicated team assists all our clients with navigating these requirements, ensuring you have all the necessary paperwork ready for your arrival. We'll guide you through each step, from pre-approvals to customs declarations at the EZE airport.
However, many of our guests find it more convenient to rent one of our high-quality shotguns directly at the lodge. This eliminates the hassle of international firearm travel regulations and customs processes. Unless you are booking a 1-day trip, our multi-day packages are completely all-inclusive. This covers luxury lodging, gourmet meals, open bar, and professional guides. We handle all the logistics for you, including arranging gun rentals and hunting licenses, which are added to your final itinerary so you don't have to worry about the details.
To help me tailor the best information for you and send you a custom proposal, could you please share your email address? Also, what is your estimated group size for the July trip you're planning?
