Here's what our guests typically find effective:

• Base Layers: Moisture-wicking thermal underwear (top and bottom) made from synthetic materials or merino wool. This helps regulate body temperature and keeps you dry.
• Mid-Layers: Fleece jackets, vests, or heavier wool sweaters for insulation. These can be easily added or removed as conditions change.
• Outerwear: A good quality, waterproof and windproof jacket is essential. Look for something durable that allows for freedom of movement. Many hunters prefer a waterproof hunting shell over a warm mid-layer. We also recommend waterproof pants or gaiters, especially for walking through dewy fields.
• Headwear & Gloves: A warm beanie or hat is crucial for heat retention. Insulated, waterproof gloves are also highly recommended to keep your hands warm and dry.
• Footwear: Waterproof and insulated hunting boots are a must. We suggest bringing multiple pairs of thick, moisture-wicking socks.
