August in Argentina is our winter season, so early mornings can be quite chilly, with temperatures often dropping to near freezing or even slightly below (around 0-5°C or 32-41°F). However, once the sun is up, temperatures typically rise to a comfortable 10-15°C (50-59°F) during the day.
We always recommend packing in layers, including warm jackets, thermal underwear, hats, and gloves for the mornings, which you can shed as the day warms up. Waterproof gear is also a good idea, just in case.
