Q: what's a typical daily schedule look like for hunters in april and also for my wife who won't be hunting
That's a great question, and we love to ensure both hunters and non-hunters have an unforgettable experience at AWS Lodge! April is a fantastic time for high-volume dove hunting, and it's still possible to add duck or perdiz hunting as an option.
Here's a typical daily schedule for hunters and what your wife could enjoy:
For Hunters in April:
• Early Morning (around 6:00 - 7:00 AM): Wake up to fresh coffee, juice, and a light breakfast at the lodge.
• Morning Hunt: After breakfast, you'll head out with your dedicated guide in our comfortable Unimogs or Jeeps to one of our prime private lagoons, typically 5-45 minutes away. You'll enjoy an exhilarating morning of high-volume dove hunting. If you've opted for a mixed bag, this could also include duck or perdiz.
• Mid-Day Break & Lunch: Around noon, you'll return to a beautiful setup in the field for a traditional Argentine "asado" (barbecue) lunch, complete with delicious grilled meats, salads, and local wines. It's a wonderful opportunity to relax and share stories from the morning hunt.
• Afternoon Hunt: After a relaxing lunch, you'll head back out for another exciting session of hunting.
• Late Afternoon (around 5:00 - 6:00 PM): Return to the lodge to unwind. You can enjoy our open bar, indulge in some appetizers, and share your hunting adventures with fellow guests.
• Evening: A gourmet dinner featuring exquisite Argentine cuisine and fine wines awaits, prepared by our private chef. After dinner, you can relax in the lounge, by the fireplace, or on the patio.
For Your Wife (Non-Hunter):
AWS Lodge is designed to be a luxurious retreat for everyone, offering a range of activities for non-hunting companions:
• Relaxation & Amenities: She can enjoy the serene atmosphere of our fully private lodge, relax by the pool, read a book in our comfortable lounges, or simply take in the beautiful Argentine countryside.
• Spa & Wellness: We offer professional massage services right at the lodge for ultimate relaxation.
• Culinary Experiences: She could participate in cooking classes to learn how to prepare traditional Argentine dishes, including empanadas and various cuts of meat.
• Local Excursions: We can arrange various local activities such as horseback riding through the pampas, bird watching, or even a day trip to explore the vibrant culture and shopping opportunities in Buenos Aires.
• Join for Meals: She is always welcome to join the group for our gourmet lunches in the field and all dinners at the lodge.
