High-Volume Dove-Only Hunt:
This program is all about pure, exhilarating high-volume dove shooting. Argentina is world-renowned for its incredible dove populations, and with this option, you'll experience truly unlimited doves. Hunters typically shoot anywhere from 1000 to 2000 shells per day, sometimes even more! The hunting scenarios involve fast-paced pass shooting over feeding fields and roosts, often from comfortable blinds or natural cover. It's an action-packed experience focused solely on the thrill of high-volume dove shooting, and it's available year-round, including November. Mixed Bag Program:
AWS Lodge does not offer the Mixed Bag program for a November trip. Duck and Perdiz sessions run only during the Argentine winter Mixed Bag season, generally mid-May to mid-August; outside that window, including November, we exclusively offer the High-Volume Dove program described above. For reference, when booked within the Mixed Bag season, the program combines high-volume dove shooting with ducks and perdiz:
• Doves: You'll still enjoy the same high-volume dove shooting as in the dove-only program.
• Ducks: Typically involves early morning hunts from specially designed blinds over decoys in our private lagoons and wetlands. These hunts offer a different kind of challenge and atmosphere.
• Perdiz: This is an upland bird hunt, conducted over pointing dogs in open fields, providing a classic walked-up bird hunting experience.
For the duck and perdiz portions, there are regulated daily bag limits, ensuring sustainable hunting practices. This program allows you to experience the best of Argentina's wingshooting diversity. You can explore it further here: [Mixed Bag Program](/mixed-bag)
