A typical day for duck hunting in June at AWS Lodge is an exciting and well-orchestrated experience designed for maximum enjoyment and success!

Here's what you can generally expect:

• Early Morning (4:30 AM - 5:00 AM): You'll have an early wake-up call, followed by a light breakfast with coffee, juice, and pastries to fuel up before heading out.
• Pre-Dawn Departure: Our professional guides will take you in our comfortable Unimogs or Jeeps to one of our prime private lagoons, typically a 5-45 minute drive from the lodge. Your dedicated bird boy will be with you to ensure everything is set up.
• Morning Hunt (Dawn until 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM): You'll be settled into your blind before first light, ready for an incredible morning of duck hunting as the sun rises.
• Return to Lodge & Brunch: After a successful morning, you'll return to the lodge for a hearty and delicious full breakfast/brunch, often including local specialties.
• Mid-Day Relaxation & Lunch: The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool, enjoy a siesta, or socialize. A gourmet lunch is served, complete with fine wines.
• Optional Afternoon Activity: If you're on a mixed bag program, you'll head out for an afternoon of high-volume dove shooting. If not, you can simply relax and enjoy the lodge amenities.
• Evening Social & Dinner: As the day winds down, enjoy cocktails and appetizers, followed by a magnificent dinner featuring traditional Argentine cuisine, premium steaks, and an open bar.
