Q: what's the etiquette for tipping the bird boys and lodge staff in april, like a general guideline
Tipping is a customary way to show appreciation for the exceptional service provided by our dedicated team at AWS Lodge. While entirely at your discretion, here's a general guideline for April or any time of year:
• Bird Boys: These professionals are with you in the field all day, ensuring a seamless and productive hunt. A common guideline is around $50 - $100 USD per hunter, per day.
• Lodge Staff: This includes our chefs, housekeepers, bartenders, and all support staff who work hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. A general recommendation is around $100 - $150 USD per hunter for the entire trip, which is typically pooled and distributed among the lodge team.
These are just guidelines, and the final amount is always up to your personal satisfaction. Our team is committed to providing a world-class experience!
To help me understand your preferences better and send you a custom proposal, could you please share your email address? Also, what time of year are you considering for your trip, or what specific type of hunting are you most interested in (e.g., high-volume doves, mixed bag)?
*(AWS Expert Note: Please be aware that our Mixed Bag programs, including Duck and Perdiz hunting, strictly run during the Argentine winter from mid-May to mid-August. For trips in April, we exclusively offer our world-renowned High-Volume Dove program, which is spectacular year-round!)*
AWS Lodge Note: These insights are compiled from historical guest queries to assist in your trip planning. While we strive for accuracy, field conditions, weather, and specific logistics may vary. Our staff handles all the hard work in the field. Always confirm final gear and itinerary details directly with our team. Contact Staff »
