Q: what's the typical daily schedule like for hunting in january
At AWS Lodge, a typical hunting day in January is designed for maximum enjoyment and high-volume action, combined with our luxury amenities. Here's a general outline:
• Morning Hunt (Sunrise): You'll wake up to a delicious breakfast prepared by our gourmet chefs. Soon after, you'll head out to one of our prime hunting fields, typically within a 5-45 minute drive from the lodge, where the doves are abundant. Our dedicated bird boys will ensure you have an exceptional experience.
• Traditional Argentine Asado (Lunch): Around midday, you'll return to the lodge or enjoy a fantastic field lunch (often a traditional Argentine *asado*) with exquisite wines and local delicacies, allowing you to relax and recharge.
• Siesta / Relaxation: After lunch, many guests enjoy a refreshing siesta or simply relax by the pool, enjoy the lodge amenities, or prepare for the afternoon hunt.
• Afternoon Hunt: In the late afternoon, you'll head back to the fields for another thrilling hunting session as the doves fly back to their roosts.
• Evening & Dinner: Upon returning to the lodge, you can enjoy an open bar, appetizers, and share stories of the day's hunt. This is followed by a gourmet dinner, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, often featuring prime Argentine beef and fine wines.
