Q: what's the usual tipping amount for bird boys and lodge staff like overall for the whole trip
It's a great question, and tipping is indeed customary in Argentina for our dedicated staff.
For our bird boys, who work tirelessly to ensure a fantastic hunting experience, a common guideline is around $50 - $70 USD per hunter, per day. They are incredibly attentive, loading your guns, retrieving birds, and making sure you have everything you need in the field.
For the lodge staff, which includes our chefs, housekeepers, and general lodge assistants who provide exceptional service throughout your stay, a collective tip of around $25 - $40 USD per hunter, per day is typically appreciated. This is usually pooled and distributed among the entire team.
These are general guidelines, and ultimately, the amount you choose to tip is a personal decision based on the level of service you receive and your satisfaction.
