Q: what specific duck species are we likely to hunt in january
That's a great question! While our Mixed Bag program at AWS Lodge does offer incredible duck hunting, January falls during the height of the summer in Argentina. This is primarily our prime season for high-volume dove shooting, known for its unparalleled action.
The peak season for duck hunting in Argentina is typically during our colder months, generally from May to August. During this period, a wider variety of duck species are abundant, such as Speckled Teal, Rosy-billed Pochard, White-cheeked Pintail, and Silver Teal, among others, making for an exceptional experience. Our Mixed Bag program is designed to provide diverse hunting opportunities, combining doves, ducks, and perdiz, but the availability of specific duck species can vary greatly depending on the time of year and local conditions.
To help me tailor the best information for you and send you a custom proposal based on your interests and the best hunting opportunities, could you please share your email address? Also, what time of year are you truly considering for your trip, keeping in mind the seasonal variations for different game?
*(AWS Expert Note: Please be aware that our Mixed Bag programs, including Duck and Perdiz hunting, strictly run during the Argentine winter from mid-May to mid-August. For trips in January, we exclusively offer our world-renowned High-Volume Dove program, which is spectacular year-round!)*
