During the winter months in Argentina (June-August), the weather can be quite variable, ranging from mild to chilly, especially in the early mornings and late evenings. Layering is absolutely key for both hunters and non-hunting guests to ensure maximum comfort throughout your stay.

Here are our recommendations for clothing:

For Hunters:

1. Base Layer: Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (long-sleeved shirt and pants). This helps regulate body temperature by pulling sweat away from your skin.
2. Mid-Layer: A fleece jacket or sweater provides excellent insulation and warmth. You might want a heavier fleece for colder days.
3. Outer Layer: A waterproof and windproof jacket is essential. It should be durable and in earth tones or camouflage patterns. A good quality waterproof hunting jacket will protect you from potential rain or dampness in the fields.
4. Pants: Insulated or heavy-duty hunting pants are recommended. If not insulated, wear a thermal base layer underneath. Again, choose earth tones or camouflage.
5. Headwear: A warm hat (beanie or insulated cap) is crucial as a lot of body heat is lost through the head.
6. Gloves: Waterproof and insulated gloves are highly recommended to keep your hands warm and dry, especially during colder hunts.
7. Footwear: Waterproof hunting boots are a must. Ensure they are comfortable, broken-in, and provide good ankle support. Bring several pairs of warm, moisture-wicking socks (wool or synthetic).
8. Accessories: A neck gaiter or scarf can provide extra warmth and protection from the wind.

For Non-Hunting Guests:

1. Layering: While not needing camouflage, layering is equally important for non-hunting guests who will be enjoying the lodge amenities or any excursions.
2. Outerwear: A warm, waterproof or water-resistant jacket is advisable for walking around the beautiful lodge grounds or any outdoor activities.
3. Mid-Layers: Sweaters, fleece jackets, and long-sleeved shirts will provide warmth and comfort indoors and out.
4. Pants: Comfortable trousers, jeans, or warm leggings are suitable.
5. Footwear: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes or boots are best. If you plan on any light walking outdoors, waterproof shoes would be beneficial.
6. Accessories: A hat, gloves, and a scarf will be useful for cooler moments.
