April is outside the Duck season at AWS Lodge, so there is no Duck-blind schedule for an April trip. April programs are Dove-only. Duck and Perdiz sessions are offered only through a confirmed Mixed Bag program during the normal season, generally from mid-May to mid-August, subject to current regulations, field conditions, and the written itinerary. During a confirmed Duck morning, guests normally have an early light breakfast and depart before dawn so they can be positioned before the first flight. Guests do not need waders: hunters remain in dry areas or blinds while the field team handles decoys and retrieves from the water.
