Welcome to the Other Side of AWS Lodge
You see the hunt. We see the chaos.
The real people and unexpected stories behind Argentina dove hunting.
Great hunting days don't just happen.
In most Argentina dove hunting videos, you see birds crossing a blue sky, a shotgun coming to the shoulder, and a happy hunter telling a story that gets better every time he tells it. What you rarely see is everything that happened before the first shot.
At AWS Lodge, our crew in Ceibas, Entre Ríos, prepares the fields, moves the supplies, fixes the vehicles, and handles whatever surprises the countryside has in store. Sometimes it's hard work. Sometimes it's absurd. Usually, it's both. These three short films show a little of the side of an Argentina hunting lodge that doesn't make the brochure.

Your Vacation. Our Gym Membership.
You book a hunting trip to Argentina. We receive pallets of shotgun ammunition, deliveries of field equipment, and what feels like enough boxes to build another lodge.
Every carton has to be unloaded, checked, organized, and stored before our guests arrive. For hunters looking for high-volume dove shooting, that preparation matters: shooting preferences vary, and 12-gauge and 20-gauge shells need to be ready for the confirmed program.
Then there's the corn and all the other field supplies. Thousands of pounds don't move themselves. Somebody has to stack them, carry them, and keep track of them. If our team looks unusually fit, now you know why. The gym isn't the problem. Finding time to go is.
The same crew also helps ready the shooting locations and coordinate the assistants, equipment, and transport that support a successful Argentina wingshooting vacation.
The result? You arrive, pick up your shotgun, and enjoy your day in the field. The heavy lifting has already been done.

Four-Wheel Drive. Zero Guarantees.
Our lodge is reached directly by road from Buenos Aires, without the extra domestic flight that many international hunting itineraries require. But the last few miles of a rural field road can have a personality of their own.
A little rain, a deceptively innocent patch of mud, and suddenly a pickup truck becomes a very expensive lawn ornament. Add a flat tire, a tow strap, and a few Spanish words we probably shouldn't translate for Instagram.
That's the reality of maintaining field access in the agricultural and wetland landscapes of southern Entre Ríos. Our team knows the roads, checks vehicle conditions, prepares alternatives when needed, and works around the weather. Even so, the countryside always has the final vote.
Whether it's a year-round dove program or a seasonal Argentina Mixed Bag hunting itinerary, field logistics are part of the service. During the appropriate authorized seasons, those itineraries can combine afternoon doves with duck hunting or perdiz over pointing dogs.
What our guests see: a vehicle ready to go and a team that knows where they're headed. What we see: the story of how we got that vehicle out of the mud yesterday.

Some Guests Never Pay.
We know guests love the all-inclusive feeling of a hunting lodge. Apparently, the local horses heard about it, too. They occasionally turn our corn supplies into a complimentary buffet, with zero manners and absolutely no intention of leaving a tip.
They're not our only unexpected visitors. Wasps may decide that a piece of field equipment looks like the perfect place to move in. Every now and then, a snake crosses a path and reminds us that we're visitors in the Argentine countryside, too. The crew gives wildlife its space and deals with the interruption safely.
And yes, there are proper meals in the middle of all this. When the work allows, the crew shares good country food, a few laughs, and stories that become a little more dramatic with each retelling.
These aren't manufactured adventures. They're the little moments that come with running an active hunting lodge near Buenos Aires, where agriculture, wildlife, seasonal weather, and people all share the same working landscape.
By the time our actual hunters arrive, the horses have moved along, the equipment is ready, and the day's plan is in place. At least until the next surprise.
What Happens When the Hunters Arrive?
Usually, none of the above. And that's exactly the point. The preparations, repairs, scouting, coordination, and fieldwork happen so our guests can focus on their trip.
A Hunting Lodge Built Around the Day
AWS Lodge is located near Ceibas in southern Entre Ríos. Many central Buenos Aires hotel transfers take approximately two hours by road, while transfers from Ezeiza International Airport commonly require around two and a half hours or a little longer, depending on traffic and pickup conditions. There's normally no need to add a domestic flight.
Our full-service lodge has eight en-suite guest rooms, meals, Argentine Asado, an open bar, and a team that coordinates daily transport to the fields. Hunting assistants and supervisors support guests according to their confirmed program. It's a boutique experience with people you get to know, not an anonymous production line.
From Doves to a Seasonal Mixed Bag
Our central offering is dove hunting in Argentina, with programs available year-round and generally stronger full-day high-volume opportunities from September through March. Results depend on conditions, bird movement, and the chosen fields, never on a guaranteed number of shots.
From May through August, suitable programs may include ducks and perdiz hunting, where legally authorized and operationally available. Pigeon hunting and parakeet hunting are additional possibilities only for suitable, specifically confirmed itineraries.
Come for the Hunting. Stay for the Experience.
When comparing Argentina dove hunting packages, it's worth looking beyond the pictures of birds. Ask about field support, accommodations, the real travel itinerary, shotgun options, seasonal conditions, and who is responsible for the details. Reliable operations are built by the people behind them.
At AWS Lodge, that sometimes means moving a mountain of boxes, rescuing a pickup, or politely disagreeing with a horse about the ownership of lunch. It's not glamorous, but it's real. And it's the reason our guests can spend more time enjoying the countryside and less time thinking about how everything comes together.
You enjoy the hunt. We'll take care of the chaos.
